Mr. Cottonhorn is very intelligent animal who enjoys a good book and comfortable royal seat as much as royal treats. He is loyal to his owner but has his own mind and can refuse to do what Dexter is asking from him. In the end he is still always there to help him out in need.

Mr. Cottonhorn is a jackalope, which means he is a jackrabbit with antelope horns. He also wears glasses that look like his owner Dexter's.

Though not confirmed, the name can be made from his bunny features as he is soft as cotton as well as his hard, spiky antelope horns.
