Mr. Green Thumb is the groundskeeper and gardener of Ever After High.

Appearance[]

Kitty had told Lizzie that all the groundskeepers are part of Old Tom Thumb’s family and are usually too small to notice. Though little, Green Thumb is far larger than a thumb. Lizzie suspects he has considerably more leprechaun than Thumb in his family tree. Besides, the name stitched on his coveralls read GREEN.

Personality[]

Mr. Green Thumb is a hard-working staff member of Ever After High. He takes his responsibilities very seriously but is always ready to give encouraging words to students. He has a squeaky voice. He likes animals.

Family[]

As all the groundskeepers, he is part of Old Tom Thumb’s family, but Lizzie suspects he has considerably more leprechaun than Thumb in his family tree.

Interests[]

Like his name suggests, Mr. Green Thumb has a knack for gardening, and seems to take pride in his work. He is especially fond of his beloved squashes.

Friends[]

Despite almost setting some hedgehogs on fire, he appears to be on good terms with Lizzie Hearts, even thought she considers him to be a "fool of a gardener."

Pets[]

He owns a mule that pulls his cart, hauling weeds and delivering vegetables to the school's Castleteria.

Trivia[]

  • In Once Upon A Time, Mr. Green Thumb rakes a few leaves as Lizzie sets up the croquet court herself. After finishing her turn, Lizzie asks Green to join her match, but he passes on her offer. Later, after a talk with the White Queen, she smells fumes from downhill and finds Green setting the leaves on fire. She promptly stops him and dumps a pail of water on the flames, finding seven hedgehogs underneath the burnt leaves. He hadn't known they were there.
  • In Once Upon A PetRaven accidentally multiplies Mr. Cottonhorn, and then the jackalopes enter Green Thumb's garden shed leading out to a vegetable garden.
  • In A Semi-Charming Kind of Life, Headmaster Grimm does his best to protect Mr. Green Thumb's squaques, telling the parents to park carefully around them.
  • In The Legend Of Shadow High, Mr. Green Thumb informs Headmaster Grimm that the new fertilizer didn't work and that the azalea flowers are still singing. Green is not referenced to by name, he is merely called "the groundskeeper."
